When work is a nice vacation from your life

I started getting blog guilt today. I get so disappointed when I find a blog that looks like it will be good but then it gets ignored by the owner. I don’t want to become one of those blog owners. My reason for not blogging is physical exhaustion…from yard work…that I did Friday. My yard looks great, but at age 35 I find that my recovery time is getting longer and longer. The cruel irony is that by the time you are old enough to own a home, it’s too painful to make it look nice and it’s less socially acceptable to drink away the pain…

I can’t count how many blogs I’ve come across that have only posted a few times, and then kicked their blog to the curb.

I’m on my third month, and I’ve done a decent job of keeping up. I try not to look at it as a job, or something I HAVE to do, but something that I WANT to do.

Anyway, maybe I’ll just rent out an apartment for the rest of my life so I don’t have to do yard work 🙂

You need a copy of George Jones song "I Don’t Need This Rockin’ Chair"! I picked it up when I turned 40 and have never looked back.
