So here it is, v1.0 of the Mono framework, an open source implementation of the .NET framework for use on Linux, Unix, MacOS X and Windows system.

Time to widen the gap again, Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 (Whidbey) on your marks!
Whidbey has been announced at TechEd Amsterdam, so look at some neat enhancements in ASP.net v2, new framework classes, clickonce deployment options with WinForms, etc.
