One of the questions I have been asked, and I thought I'd clarify, is "who owns the event?" I have heard from several sources that assumed that, since I have been utilizing GPPC as the hosters for the event, that it is their event, no longer with any Microsoft support or guidance.
Let me start by saying that the Dynamics GP Technical Airlift is first, and foremost, a Microsoft event. This event is focused primarily on our technical resources, those that have development, presales, or implementation consultant roles, and we have 5 pre-day sessions now, over 30 sessions during the week, and 3 "keynote" type events. Not only is it on the Microsoft Fargo campus, we are putting up a huge tent to both serve our lunches in as well as hold our evening event on Wednesday after the last session.
The reason that it's important for you to understand that this is a Microsoft event is to understand the level of emphasis that we put into this event. We will be making news not only with the Friday morning event, but we'll also be talking about SP2, the Dynamics GP Statement of Direction, and give you deep insight into the future of Dynamics GP.
Just a reminder that this is North Dakota in the late Summer. Weather is variable here so you may want to bring along a light jacket for the evening event.
