Last month (November 2007), Microsoft and the Northern Territory government signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a Microsoft studio. The investment is expected to be $6 million over a three year period, and provide opportunities for a graduate technology specialist. The signing took place in Darwin with the Northern Territory Minister for Communications, Elliot McAdam..

“We will be looking to incorporate a graduate program for the best and brightest in ICT in the Territory offering them access to Microsoft’s global resources,” said Microsoft’s Northern Territory and Pacific Islands Manager, Mr Andrew Hodges.
