Last week (November 19), Microsoft Australia welcomed the NSW Minister for Roads & Commerce, the Hon Eric Roozendaal and the Director General of the NSW Department of Commerce, Mr John Lee to Microsoft headquarters in Sydney. The Minister and Director General got a first hand demonstration of X-Box and Windows Media Centre as well as Unified Communications technologies. The NSW government has Australia’s second largest recurrent information technology spend at between $1.2 billion and $1.5 billion a year. The meeting provided an opportunity to build upon the existing partnership between the NSW Government and Microsoft.
