UI differences at first glance between VS2005 and VS2008

A customer was asking what are the major differences when we use the UI from 2005 to 2008. He just wanted to a first look different at major features - not just mind numbing doc. So here is what I did. I launched both 2005 and 2008 IDE side by side and compared the major feature list differences.

 

The first major difference you see is in the Main Menu List. We have a new menu by name "Analyze" as shown below in 2008.

Now what does "Analyze" provide. As you can see below, "Analyze" provides the tools to analyze the code so that you can performance tune it. All of the Performance and profiling options are in this Menu.
