SaaS Undertakers do exist...

About one month ago, I blogged here about the need of "SaaS Undertakers" looking after the SaaS data graveyard that might exponentially grow with out of business SaaS companies (I'm bullish on SaaS, but common... not all of them will succeed).

Well, today reading Jeff Kaplan's newsletter I learned about Iron Mountain a company who announced a new escrow service.

SaaSProtect Escrow Service protects the subscribers of SaaS applications in the event of problems with the SaaS provider, significant outages, or other service interruptions. They say in their press release.

I cannot comment on the quality of the solution as I have not looked at it, but at least I can vouch for the idea :)
