So, there is a good chance I will attend TechEd EMEA in Barcelona, Spain for Dev Week, Nov. 5 to 9.
What is Spain like in the fall? Never been there. Spanish is the dominant language so how much do I need to know to function well? This will be a good test for how well Rosetta Stone can prepare you for travel to a foreign country.
I had the opportunity to travel to Zurich, Switzerland last January and thoroughly enjoyed it. Spent the night in a Swiss Chalet in the French country side, mai oui!! Skied in the mountains, what do they call them again? 🙂 Many thanks to Marc Michault for an excellent time!
So, am I looking forward to Spain? Pero por supuesto!
I will also be moving to a new role here at Microsoft Learning. That of Product Planner for Assessments and Certifcations for the developer audience. So, if you are attending TechEd Developers 2007, stop by the MSL booth and look me up. I’d love to chat about our current certification strategy and the future of Microsoft Certifications for developers.
