Community Megaphone Podcast Show #16 with Guest John Blumenauer

The latest episode of the Community Megaphone Podcast is up!

CMP In this episode, Dane and I talk to John Blumenauer, from Germantown, MD. We discuss MEF, the Orchard Project, as well as John’s work in the community including his user group, the Frederick .NET User Group. We also found time for a little discussion about Visual Studio LightSwitch, Microsoft WebMatrix and the Razor syntax (also available in ASP.NET MVC 3), and the Pomodoro Technique, which Andrew recently tried his hand at using.

John Blumenauer is a Senior Software Engineer for Applied Information Sciences (AIS). Prior to joining AIS, he designed and developed applications of all sizes in a variety of industries including telecommunications, johnblumenauer2aerospace/defense, point-of-sale, engineering and financial. During John’s 14-year career in software development, he has worked with a variety of  languages and has contributed to projects of all sizes, including large scale enterprise applications. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and valuable experience with the development community as a frequent presenter at code camps and user groups throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
