Settings Change in Visual Studio 2010 SP1 for Windows XP Users

Jason Zander has posted an article detailing a change that’s coming in the soon-to-be-released SP1 for Visual Studio 2010 with respect to how Visual Studio 2010 behaves on Windows XP with hardware acceleration.

The short version is that for Windows XP users, SP1 will turn off hardware graphics acceleration in Visual Studio 2010, as Windows XP users are more likely to encounter issues including crashing behavior when this feature is turned on.
