Slides from my DC Web Platform Firestarter, plus a Visual Studio / IE9 Workaround

My thanks to all of the folks who came out for yesterday’s Web Platform Firestarter at our DC office yesterday. The room was packed tighter than a can of sardines, and I particularly appreciate everyone’s patience as we got the room squared away in the morning.

I promised that I would post a link to the slides I used in my presentations, and I have uploaded those decks to the MSDN Mid-Atlantic Roadshow code gallery site. Here’s the direct link for folks who just want to grab the ZIP with the decks":

Additionally, some of you might have noticed that Chris and I were encountering a known issue with Visual Studio 2010 and the Internet Explorer 9 beta, in which the first (or first few) requests to an ASP.NET application from IE9 fail. I just ran across a workaround posted by Dan Wahlin, and it seems to be working for me, so I thought I’d pass it along:

Let me know how the workaround works for you, or if you have any questions about the presentations yesterday!
