Community Megaphone Podcast Show #19 LIVE from Richmond and Philly Code Camps!

The latest episode of the Community Megaphone Podcast is up!

In this episode, Dane and Andrew experiment with telecommuting, recording segments at two separate code camps simultaneously. Dane takes the northern end with Philly Code Camp, while Andrew heads south for Richmond Code Camp X.

First, Andrew talks (along with guest host Joel Cochran) with Frank LaVigne about a number of topics, including the new Community Megaphone Windows Phone 7 app written by Kevin Hazzard.

Dane then talks to Andy Schwam about his role with the Philly Code Camp, his shiny new MVP in C#, and the challenges of balancing home life, running events, and being a community speaker.

Next, Andrew and Joel talk to Frank about the history of Richmond Code Camp and the Richmond developer community in honor of their 10th code camp…and (this being the Community Megaphone Podcast), we also talk about food, including breakfast pizza.

Back in Philly, Dane talks to Rachel Appel about what it was like to make the transition from community speaker and MVP to Microsoft developer evangelist.

Finally, Joel gives up the co-host chair to David Makogon, who drops some news about his new Windows Azure MVP status, and helps Andrew interview Kevin Hazzard about Kevin’s Community Megaphone Windows Phone 7 app, which will eventually be available as an open source example of Windows Phone 7 development.
