I had a great time last night presenting at the Capital Area .NET User Group. I was thankful for the opportunity to share with the group what’s new in Web development for .NET 4 and Visual Studio 2010 as part of their Visual Studio 2010 Community Launch event.
What a great turnout, with over 65 folks showing up, and tons of great questions!
As promised, I’ve posted my slides and code for the session online on our MSDN Mid-Atlantic Roadshow site. You can download a zip file with the slides and demo project directly from the following link:
If you attended the meeting, and have any feedback on the presentation, I’d love to hear it!
Thanks to everyone who came out!
UPDATE: I wanted to make sure to share the resources from the end of my deck, in case anyone didn’t get a chance to write them down, and doesn’t want to go to the trouble of downloading the deck just for that:
- Visual Studio 2010 Training Kit
- Visual Studio 2010 Training on Channel 9
- What’s New in ASP.NET 4
- What’s New in Visual Studio 2010
- All about WebMatrix, Razor, and MVC 3
UPDATE 2: I realized there was another thing I wanted to share…in light of the brief discussion we had on Microsoft WebMatrix and Visual Studio LightSwitch, I thought some folks might find the following an interesting read:
