VS2010 and .NET 4 info from the Top

And by the top, I mean of course Scott Guthrie, who runs the team responsible for delivering Visual Studio 2010 and the .NET Framework 4.

Scott has kicked off a series of blog posts covering VS2010 and .NET 4 that looks to be very informative. If you don’t already follow Scott Guthrie’s blog, you definitely should, particularly for this series. Here are the first couple of posts:

Clean Web.Config Files (VS 2010 and .NET 4.0 Series)

Starter Project Templates (VS 2010 and .NET 4.0 Series)

Both of these changes are great news in my book, as I’ve certainly noticed the increased bulk in web.config in the projects I’ve been working on, and the ability to share project templates, among other improvements, will bring a nice dose of social networking and sharing right into the tool, allowing folks to share best practices for structuring their projects so they can get them started on the right foot.

Oh, and if you’re on twitter, you can follow Scott at ScottGu.
