In case you haven’t heard, IE8 RC1 has been released. Many improvements in speed, compatibility and more.

And if you’re inclined to help improve compatibility even more for the final release, please consider installing the Report A Webpage Problem IE add-on, which provides a simple means for letting the IE team know when you encounter a page that does not work or render properly in IE 8 RC 1 (or the Beta 2 release, for that matter).
