Brandon Paddock has a nice list of some of the new Windows 7 Beta 1 hotkeys. My favorite is the Win + + and Win + - for zooming in and out on the screen. As someone who uses Sysinternals’ ZoomIt pretty regularly during presentations, the fact that Windows 7 now supports this kind of zooming, with a live zoom window (rather than a static snapshot), out of the box, is awesomely useful. I may still use ZoomIt for its ability to draw annotations on the screen, but it’s nice to know it’s there if I need it:
Got yourself a shiny new Windows 7 Beta install? Here’s a little cheat sheet I made up for some of the handy new hotkey combinations, many of which I’ve become quite dependent on!
