Frank La Vigne has created a very cool plug-in for Windows Live Writer that allows you to insert links to Community Megaphone events into any blog post. So if you happen to be promoting your events on Community Megaphone (and if not, why not?), you can then easily add links to more information about your event, a map to the event location, and an iCalendar file for adding to Outlook or other calendars, with only a few clicks of the mouse. Here’s what the result looks like with icons:

As an example, I’m adding in a link to this Monday night’s Southern Maryland .NET User Group meeting:
