ReMIX07 Boston Starts Monday

Later today, I'll be hopping a plane to Boston, for the first major conference I've been involved with planning, ReMIX07 Boston. I've been part of the team putting together content and speakers, and the team working out how to enhance the communication with attendees and other interested folks before, during, and after the event, and last but not least, I've spent a little time working on the web site.

So I'm excited for the show to get underway, both because of all the work that has gone into it (it's really been a team effort, with lots of great folks pulling long hours), but also because it means that next week, things will start to settle down a little bit again.

If you're coming to the event, please look me up while you're there. If we haven't met, you'll know me by my Borg t-shirt:

It's one-of-a-kind, and handmade. And yes, its very geeky (in fact, it also says "geek" on it in two different languages.

So what if you're not able to make it to the event? We'll miss you, but you don't have to miss out too much. We're going to have a team of folks recording as many sessions as we can, and will be putting them up on the ReMIX07 Boston web site. We'll also have interviews with various folks, and updates and news from the event.

If you're attending the event, and planning to blog, I'd like to ask that you tag your posts with "ReMIX07Boston" to make it easier for us to find your content. Of course, you should also feel free to drop me a note to let me know you've posted something...I'll be looking for cool stuff to put on the news rotator on the main page of the site, which is drawing from our RSS feed, and I'd love to include observations or tidbits from attendees.

See you in Boston, or online!
