Blister packs are EVIL!

SO I recently got a new gadget, the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000, which is very cool, but it reminded me of a truism that is unescapable. That is, that the blister packs that this and many other products come packaged in are completely and utterly evil. Not only do they typically require some sort of tool to open (inevitably a tool that you do not have on hand), but you've usually got a 50% or better chance of lacerating yourself on the sharp plastic edges once you do manage to get one open.

I'd even go so far as to say that blister packs are worse than DRM. DRM is not exactly what one would call a popular technology, but at least DRM has never drawn blood (at least to my knowledge.

BAN THE BLISTER...BAN THE BLISTER...BAN THE BLISTER!!!
