    The one that’s got me lying awake at night (metaphorically) since there’s no workaround and I have no idea if a fix will be provided, is the bit about DataSet designers being so slow as to be unusable.

    Apart from anything else, I’ve really come to like TableAdapters, which I assume would be affected by this.

    I really hope Microsoft provides satisfactory remedies for these issues *soon*, and doesn’t just fob us off by telling us to wait for Orcas (and why should we have to pay another bundle to develop for Vista anyway?).

    An operating system is useless without software (remember that whole "Developers, developers, developers" thing?), so it’s vital for the tools to be brought up to scratch as soon as possible.
