A definite don't-miss event this week is this Thursday's Microsoft Integration and Connected Systems User Group, at which Anil John, from the John's Hopkins University's Applied Physics Lab, will talk about the state of the WS-* specifications, and discuss what's real, and what's hype. Anil has been working with interoperability and web services for some time now, and is probably one of the sharpest folks I know on the topic, so you won't want to miss this one.
