This came up as a question from a customer, so I thought I'd share the answer...

If you've heard of MSBuild, the new build platform for Visual Studio 2005 and .net 2.0, and are interested in taking advantage of it with .net 1.1 and Visual Studio .net 2003, there's a project up on CodePlex called MSBee that may be just what you're looking for.
