DC Visual Studio 2005 / SQL Server 2005 Launch Today!

Very exciting day today. We're going to be putting on the final Visual Studio 2005 Launch Event today in Washington, DC at the new DC Convention Center. We're expecting several thousand attendees, and when I got a look at the keynote room last night, I was just blown away.

I'll be presenting with Brian Goldfarb from the Web Platform and Tools team on new features in ASP.NET 2.0. We're going to have a blast, and I hope to see lots of my readers there. If you're attending the launch, you can catch me either before or after my session (DEV 3, starting at 3pm) in the Ask the Experts lounge in the community area. And make sure to stop by the DC user group table, which is right near the registration area.

Good job, Andrew. You and Brian’s presentation and Q&A session is the best of the whole launch event. Just compare the audience response among all the presentations. Especially the "behind-curtain" demo part, that really set you guys apart from the rest. 🙂

    Keep the good work.
