Chris Kinsman presented Tuesday night at the Capital Area .NET User Group on team development, covering both current tools and technologies, as well as Visual Studio Team System. Chris discussed everything from setting up the development environment, and choices about how to structure projects, to source control, to nightly builds (and why you should, no must, have them).
The back-and-forth with the attendees was quite informative, too.
Chris’s web site is at http://www.vergentsoftware.com/, and he’s also associated with Guided Design, the group that put together the awesome Patterns & Practices Summit earlier this month in Reston, VA (there will be another P&P summit on the west coast in the spring I’m told…registration to begin on Nov. 1st).
Thanks, Chris, for an excellent talk!
