Dead Rising selling out in Japan

Dead Rising has been selling out in Japan where it just recently was released in Japan. This is a pretty big deal because last I checked Xbox has been laughed off as not even a contender in the Japanese console market.  What's even more interesting is that Dead Rising has been selling well even though it received the "Z-Rating" which is synonymous with "game is obscene".  More details are available from Kotaku.
