SharePoint Designer available as a free download
Just in case you missed the news, we’ve made SharePoint Designer free to all SharePoint users. We want to expand the usage of SharePoint as a rich platform so making SPD free allows customers and partners to exploit some of the rich capabilities of SharePoint without having to worry about buying extra tools. For professional developers, our tool of choice is still Visual Studio.
