The Visual Studio 2008 extensions for SharePoint are planned for release in June 2008. Until then we are recommending that people continue to have Visual Studio 2005 installed on their SharePoint development machines.

I’m pleased to announce that MOSS 2007 and WSS v3 are now both supported on machines that have .NET Framework 3.5, .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 and .NET Framework 3.0 SP1.
