Biztalk 2010 WCF adapters Fail after Installation of .Net Framework 4.5

Biztalk 2010 does not support .Net Framework 4.5 as of today. Hence we may experience unexpected side effects of installing .Net Frameowork 4.5 on a Biztalk 2010 Server. One such problem that was experience by one of the customers I recently worked with was that the WCF Adapters No Longer Work as expected. Every time we tried to configure the WCF SQL adapter Receive location we got the following error pop up message:

TITLE: BizTalk Server Administration
------------------------------

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. (mscorlib)

------------------------------
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Binding not found : sqlBinding (Microsoft.Adapters.Common.BizTalk)

------------------------------
BUTTONS:

OK
------------------------------

Resolution:

To resolve the issue we did a Repair of the Biztalk Adapter Pack. Run the Repair on both the 32-bit and 64-bit version of the Adapter Pack.

Note: No Applications were affected by our in place repair but it would be a good idea to back your Biztalk application bindings and binaries as well as ensuring that you have a recent backup of all your Biztalk Databases.
