Well what a start to 2009, its my first day back at work for the new year and it already feels like 2009 is off to a fast and interesting start.

My big goals for 2009:

  • Complete my Microsoft Certified Master: SQL Server 2008 Certification
  • Blog regularly on this blog
  • Participate actively in the local SQL Server Communities

On a personal note: during the holidays one of my two Zune devices, my first generation Zune 30, was one of the unfortunate that froze only to be reborn into the New Year, I am sure that everyone has heard that story by now. If you are interested in the details check out this post on the Zune support site. This device is still one of the best loved and most used pieces of technology in my life at the moment (besides my laptop of course) and I missed it during its leave of absence, glad to have it back and fully functional again.
