Custom Domain Names in Windows Azure

This is a topic that comes up quite frequently, and I always find myself referencing Steve’s post on the matter of mapping a Hosted Service running in Windows Azure (for example https://frogs69.cloudapp.net) to a custom domain that you otherwise own.
