IE7 : Hot Out Of The Oven, Freshly Baked for You!

Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP Available Now

For those of you who haven’t heard yet, we’re going to start distributing IE7 in English as a high-priority update thru Automatic Updates. If you're an IT professional and have customers who want to manage their internal deployment of IE7, you should recommend they have blocking measures in place by 1 November.  We think it’ll take several months to complete the distribution worldwide. ... No thanks… I’ll wait till SP1. Don’t want to get another Virus on my finally clean system.

On that Virus note… thank you lord for giving those nice people at Eset the brain spark to come up with something as good as NOD32…

… been Virus and Spyware free for nearly 300 days now.

Don’t know what Symantec is on about with Vista… I think their products stinks compared to solid industrial solutions such as NOD32…

I guess they are worried because they know they only have so so fluff ware not much better than what Microsoft will actually provide free of charge as part of the OS.

IE doesn’t give you viruses, msotly it’s people that don’t know what they are clicking on.

I’m so tired of hearing this crap about IE, Firefox has had enough critical security bugs to warrant the same bad reputation but it seems all it needs is the open source religion behind it to make it a "good" browser.

90% is still using IE, and with IE7 I expect IE to take back most of the few percentages it lost to Firefox.
