Some folks ask me why I am still at Microsoft. After 14 years, surely they think I must be lacking in passion or interest or hunger for the role. How wrong folks can be.

It's announcements such as the one made a gnomedex that get me jazzed everyday. But more amazing is how the Longhorn RSS team is responded to comments in the community. Cool. It's 1995 all over again. Things are exciting and cool. Jeff, Vic and Charles are excited too.

So, why am I here? Is it to help developers build really great software using Microsoft tools & technologies? Sure, that goes without saying. But I think it's even simplier than that. Just watch the Channel 9 video
