MSDN Flash Australia
Frank’s back – with a bunch of great offers
Hi, all, and welcome to another issue of MSDN Flash
First off, let me thank the folks who were guest editors for the past four editions. I was off work due to an illness so we had Jason McConnell, Anna Liu, David Glover and Deeps all contribute to the past editions. Thanks for your support, folks. So, what’s new for this edition? We’re looking at the revamped MSDN Online Site, new RSS feeds, news on the upcoming MSDN Update for December, and a special offer for our MSDN subscribers. Speaking of MSDN subscribers, one of the things I have noticed on our local mailing lists is the value of an MSDN subscription. As a reminder, MSDN subscriptions deliver the latest tools, technologies and information right to your door. You receive monthly shipments of your choice of CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, packed with essential programming information, plus the latest Microsoft software and tools to prepare you for any development challenge. MSDN subscriptions also include updates, service packs, selected Betas, and new releases shipped throughout the year. One thing we are highlighting in this edition of the MSDN Flash is a special offer for MSDN subscribers to get access to Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 Standard and Enterprise Editions. If you aren’t an MSDN subscriber, head over to our subscription page and . For those of you using the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 beta, here’s something cool. Check out the plug-in from Safari Books Online for . This offer gives you 30 days’ complimentary access to Safari’s online technical reference library, and will help deliver enhanced search results from within Visual Studio 2005 Beta Help. That’s it for now – time to ease myself back into work. ‘til next time, Happy Coding.Frank ArrigoFrank Arrigo
