.NET takes lead for health industry

Good to see iSoft getting some press. They are a UK based ISV who are making fantastic progress in Australia.

Microsoft's .NET is emerging as a leading healthcare platform, thanks to iSoft's success in a flurry of acquisitions and contract wins that will further squeeze small players.

The UK-based developer - that holds a 70 per cent share of Australia's hospital systems market - is Microsoft's anointed independent software vendor (ISV) partner for healthcare.

ISoft has wasted no time prescribing its "Doctor's" Office 2003 and Windows XP Tablet-based applications as a cure for health system ills across the world. [more]
