The new design focuses on simplification of use, adherence to the Enterprise Library specification, and alignment with soon to come .NET 2.0 ClickOnce.

You'll see a renovated landing page, new content structure, better tooling, integrated help into VS.NET and much more.

This version of Updater Application Block provides guidance on adding self-updating capabilities to smart client applications built with the .NET Framework 1.1. If you are working with a whidbey based solution you should look at ClickOnce instead. This block is designed for Everett based applications.
