Stackoverflow.com best practice for website errors

This is how you tell people your site is having an issue 🙂 Once again www.stackoverflow.com (That would be Jeff and his small team) demonstrate they know how to build a great site. Well done folks – I love what you have done.

In case you were wondering, stackoverflow is written using Visual Studio 2008, ASP.NET MVC Preview, LINQ to SQL and SQL Server 2008. I have followed the development of stackoverflow since day one via the podcasts of Jeff  and Joel and learnt a lot (although to be fair – their signal to noise ratio can be a little off at times – but still amusing). IMHO, if you are a developer, you should be on StackOverflow.

FYI. StackOverflow now uses SQL Server 2008 (not 2005) – Hence all their discussion of problems with full text search since the move.

I liked the cat picture too. – Haven’t seen it for a while though.
