Now I am the proud owner of a working VS 2008 with SP1 Beta, it is time for me to take a look at some of the resources that explain exactly what we are adding with SP1.
Firstly, lets be clear, SP1 of VS2008 is not really an SP1 - it is a really .NET 3.8 (IMHO) as it contains so much new stuff. Hence I like it better when we refer to it as "Enhancements".
First you need some documentation (which looks to be online only right now)
Then you need to get yourself a copy of the May 2008 Preview for the .NET 3.5 Enhancements Training Kit. As a preview there is still lots missing - but there are enough slides and labs to get you started. It includes updated labs on:
- ASP.NET AJAX History
- ASP.NET MVC
- ASP.NET Dynamic Data
- ADO.NET Data Services
- ADO.NET Entity Framework
