Upcoming UK Technical events which caught my eye

There is no shortage of high quality events these days aimed at developers using .NET - but the following stuck out for a variety of reasons.

  • 23rd May: First up, NxtGenUG are famous (at least in my team!) for their inventive approach to events - and the biggy for them will soon be with us - check out https://www.nxtgenug.net/Fest07 for more details.
  • 23rd April: Bristol is 10miles down the road for me and I am pleased to see a new user group started up. My colleague Mike T is coming down from Manchester to deliver a session on LINQ on Monday 23rd . Check out the details if you live nearby. Interestingly (to me anyway!) I am then heading up to Manchester on Tuesday to talk to some ISVs about Windows Server "Longhorn". Mike has also just recorded some LINQ videos - check out his blog.
  • 26th April: Security remains a tough sell to developers BUT I am reliably told that there is a great speaker lined up for this workshop on Web Application Hacking which should make it into a fun and informative half day.

Enjoy
