C# Sneak Preview Document

We’ve put a C#
Whidbey Sneak Preview document
on the dev center. It has a good overview of the
new cool stuff that will show up in Whidbey.

Note that this isn’t an exhaustive list; there are some things that will show up that
aren’t in the document.

If we have some enhancement we would like to suggest for the IDE, where can we send these issues? I tried looking online for somewhere to post a issue, but the only thing I have found is the newsgroup (spam city).

My issue in particular is with printing. It is lacking some useful features in the current IDE. Specifically (1) printing an entire project and (2) Printing the code inside regions. With the current system, I have to print each file individually and I have to remember to open all regions before printing.

    Eric,

I’d suggest sending those to AnsonH@Microsoft.com – he’s the PM for the IDE.

And you might suggest how nice it would be if he had a blog…

The doc was a great read. I’m looking forward to the new features. One question: What does the <EM>yield</EM> statement do? There were only two sentences dedicated to yield, neither of which told me much. It seems to be similar to return???

Nice doc. I still don’t understand how an anonymous delegate can be unhooked (removed) from a delegate chain. How does one unhook the button1.Click event handler in the example in the doc? Or do you just not use anonymous delegates in that situation?
