Unreliable Behaviour When Web Garden Feature is Enabled

The Web garden feature is not recommended with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 as there are known issues - one of which is described below:

Create new picklist value and new field on a form.

RESULT:

When viewing the new elements on the form, they are gone.

Refresh a couple of times, but they are still gone.

Also workflows fail and not able to reference new fields anymore.

In advanced find query, it is not possible to reference and find new fields.

Appears the new metadata is replaced by the old metadata.

CAUSE:

IIS web garden feature of CRM AppPool.

This was set to 3 max worker threads.

RESOLUTION:

Disable IIS web garden feature by setting it back to 1 max worker thread
