Release Date of April Security Updates for Windows Embedded Standard 2009 and XP Embedded SP3

Security updates for the Windows Embedded Standard 2009and XP Embedded SP3 component databases are scheduled to reach the Windows Embedded release channel no later than 2 weeks after “Patch Tuesday” in even numbered months. Availability for download from the OEM websites, MOO and ECE, occurs in the following week.

The April Security Component Database update for Windows Embedded Standard 2009 and XPe SP3 is delayed by 1 week. The April update is scheduled to reach the Windows Embedded release channel by May 3rd, with availability on MOO and the ECE to follow.
