This screen cast is the first in a series of two that focus on File Based Write Filter in Windows Embedded Standard 2009. This video looks at the settings in the File Based Write Filter component that can be configured offline. It provides a brief overview of each setting and shows how to check filter settings in a deployed runtime.

The second video (to be published shortly) will look at using the filter manager, fbwfmgr.exe) to manipulate the filter and it’s settings on the runtime.
