Peter's Bio

Peter has been part of the Windows Embedded Team since 2008 working as a Program Manager (PM). He currently works on embedded Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) features, headless device support, and embedded-specific deployment scenarios: making sure that the deployment features Windows Embedded supports meet the needs of embedded OEMs.

Before joining Microsoft Peter was an embedded firmware developer for land-mobile radio solutions and has worked in business-and-marketing related software development. Peter received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in 2006, with a specialization in control systems theory, and is currently working on a Masters in EE in the evenings.

During his undergraduate education Peter attended one year of school in Japan, worked in a Japanese software development firm for six months, and speaks Japanese. His hobbies include construction, working on Swedish cars, and discussing which science fiction shows are the best.
