.NET Framework version 2.0 installer dependencies
The .NET Framework version 2.0 represents a new level of functionality, stability, and interoperability for both the .NET Framework and for Windows XP Embedded customers. Since the XP Embedded team realizes this we’ve taken it upon ourselves to provide solution to those customers who want to reap the benefits of having the .NET Framework 2.0 in their embedded image.
And we know this.
So we’re providing a macro component to those who wish to become early adopters in utilizing the .NET Framework version 2.0 in the Windows XP Embedded environment. The macro component “dotNetV2Deps” will bring in the dependencies required to install the framework VIA its native Windows Installer setup application from the desktop on a deployed image.
