New Worm: SASSER

Well, it seams like there's still people that has enough time to bother those of us that work hard and have not that enough time for our families. My kids (a week away to turn 5 and two) are still wondering how come I couldn't go to their friends’ party ... here is the reason:

SASSER!!!!

A new computer virus that uses a know vulnerability reported in April 13. MS04-011.

Please, make sure:

  1. have a well configured firewall. Look at: www.microsoft.com/protect or (spanish) www.microsoft.com/mexico/seguridad/proteccion for detailed directions
  2. have updated anti-virus
  3. have a full “patched” (updated) machine, check that out at www.windowsupdate.com
