Dot-Com Meets SharePoint: Building an Internet-Facing Web Site Using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007

My name is Jim Masson, and I'm a Lead Program Manager working on the Web Content Management features of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. I'm using my talk at TechEd in Boston (OFC323) as a good excuse to post my first blog entry here. I'm not going to duplicate the talk here, but I will use this as a chance to provide additional details in a few areas as well as a venue for questions and feedback.
As you can tell from the title, this post is all about using the 2007 release of Office SharePoint Server as a tool to build great Internet facing sites. This has been a very serious effort and theme for the team during this release, which makes it really fun to get a chance to stand up and talk about it.
I'm going to be conducting a couple of Chalk Talks, which are really Q&A sessions on WCM, in the TLC Green Zone. Some specific times to catch me:
