How Microsoft Dynamics Partners Can Stay Informed During Convergence 2013

Print

With over 11,000 attendees next week, we are expecting Convergence 2013 to be the Microsoft Dynamics event of the year. I want to provide some quick communications guidance for partners who will be joining the conference live and in-person, and those looking to stay up to speed virtually.

Partners should feel free to blog or tweet about their excitement for the event. For example, you may choose to highlight customers attending the conference, news or products they or your company is excited to hear about, or any cool technologies and features you learn while attending.

However, we do ask partners not disclose any information that is not public or has been shared with them under embargo, or information that is presented to them in closed sessions during Convergence.

How can partners prepare for Convergence?
To help you prepare for Convergence, we have recorded and posted brief Virtual Partner Briefing sessions focusing on: Partner Strategy, Sales Strategy and Product and Marketing Strategy. Take the time to review these 10 minute videos posted on PartnerSource to be better prepared before arriving with your customers and be in the know.

Where does a partner go to track the Convergence announcements?
If you are unable to attend in person, please register to watch Virtual Convergence slated for Tuesday, March 19. Publically consumable news will be shared across a variety of platforms:

· Microsoft News Center – Microsoft Dynamics

· Microsoft Dynamics blogs

o The Edge (ERP)

o CRM Connection

o Inside Microsoft Dynamics AX

o Inside Microsoft Dynamics GP

o Microsoft Dynamics NAV Team

How can partners amplify the Convergence buzz through social media?
On a daily basis our Microsoft Dynamics social media team will be driving out messaging across: Twitter (@MSFTDynamics, @MSFTConvergence, and hashtag #CONV13), Facebook (Microsoft Dynamics, Convergence), YouTube, Flickr, and the Convergence Mobile App. Don’t forget about the #CONV13 Live Wall streaming updates from across the socialsphere. And Microsoft partner, Jon Rivers from Data Masons, has built out a fantastic list of information on his blog guiding you how to follow real time updates.

Thank you for taking the time to join us at Convergence 2013!
