There is a lot of buzz regarding “Search” today. Plus, I wanted to highlight some great feedback we’ve received regarding the improved PartnerSource search functionality.
First, Yahoo! and Microsoft announced an agreement that will improve the Web search experience for users and advertisers, and deliver sustained innovation to the industry. In simple terms, Microsoft will now power Yahoo! search while Yahoo! will become the exclusive worldwide relationship sales force for both companies’ premium search advertisers.
Second, Bing continues to demonstrate that it holds its own versus Google, especially in the areas Bing is initially concentrating on – travel, health, finding local businesses and shopping. Check user feedback on Facebook!
Finally, Microsoft Dynamics improved its search functionality on PartnerSource in May. We’ve heard a lot of positive feedback from partners regarding the enhancements. Additionally, we are targeting additional improvements for PartnerSource over the course of the fiscal year beginning in August.
