Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 Cumulative Update 6 has released

If you’ve been watching the Dynamics AX team news, you may have heard that the latest cumulative update for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 is released.

And, if you’re a Dynamics AX customer using Connector for Microsoft Dynamics, that means something to you…..

This cumulative update for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 contains the code that it is also contained in the DynamicsConnectorR2.xpo currently used with Connector for Microsoft Dynamics. This means that if you apply CU 6 or if you are working with a brand new installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 downloaded after this release, then you will NO LONGER need to import the DynamicsConnectorR2.xpo to enable the Connector's default integration services. You do still need to run the DynamicsConnector set up class, but that class is now contained within the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 code itself.
