Using non-printing columns in column calculations

When using non-printing columns in your column calculations be sure to think about the columns you want included in the calculation. If you define range calculation, only the printing columns are included in the calculation. If you define each column individually in the calculation, printing and non-printing columns are included in the calculation.

In the screen shots below, you can see the differences in a range calculation versus individually defining each column in the calculation.

  1. Now I want to take your report and add quarter date to your range calculation column. So the column will show quarter 1 total (March 31, 2013)in the heading.

All I find in the manuals you can't add a date to a calc column.  I entered the base year and base period code.  You could do this in FRX.
